Evan A. Weitz is an experienced organic and analytical chemist who holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota. Building upon years of experience in the chemistry lab, he currently performs repair work on both modern and vintage audio equipment as a senior lab technician with Absolute Sound Laboratories in Savage, Minnesota. Since joining the Absolute Sound team three years ago, Evan A. Weitz has become a co-owner of the company.
As of August 2017, Mr. Weitz has also taught both individual students and classes as a tutor with Achieve Academics in Plymouth, Minnesota. Providing targeted instruction in math and science, he helps aspiring college applicants prepare for the ACT postsecondary admissions test. He also offers students general strategic advice on ACT test-taking.
Outside of the professional arena, Evan A. Weitz enjoys collecting keyboards and synthesizers and vintage and rare board games. He is also an avid backcountry skier and a member of Mensa International.
